Privacy Policy

Barber Till (“the app”) is a point-of-sale application for barbershops. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. The barbershop that operates the app is the data controller for its own business records.
Information we handle
- Account information — the email address and name of staff and owner accounts, used to sign in and to identify who made a sale.
- Business records — services, prices, sales, taxes, barber commissions and payouts entered while using the app.
- Customer details — an optional customer name on a ticket, and a customer email address only if a staff member chooses to email a receipt.
How the information is used
Information is used solely to operate the point-of-sale: ringing up sales, calculating tax and commissions, printing or emailing receipts, and producing reports for the business. We do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Data is stored on the app’s own backend server operated for the business, and is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not sell your data or share it with advertising or analytics networks.
Payment data
The app records the payment method (cash or card) and the amount. It does not collect, process or store payment card numbers.
Data retention and deletion
Business records are kept for as long as the barbershop needs them for accounting and operations. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at the address below.
Children
The app is a business tool and is not directed at children.
